The picture? That is Sebas. He is in Home Depot, in front of a Gift card display that features a picture of Marty, Danny, and Sebas taken about 2 years ago. We were shocked to see it! Actually, my friend Lourdes called me and told me it was there because her daughter had seen it. So I went to a different one and saw it there. The picture is in yet a third store nearby. My cousins saw it in PA, and a friend saw it in California.

Halloween!

House update! The house you see below is not thehouse we are buying. It was going to be - we made a low-ball offer and it was accepted with a clause that allowed for the house to be shown and offers to be made on top of our's. If an offer was good, the owners would give us 72 hours to either comeup witht he money or to release the house. We released the house.
We had some issues with our own sale because of several transactions. One, we are subdividing and need apporaval from the mortgage company. That can take up to a year! So we are subdiving without their permission and they can force us topay up, which we planned to do anyway. We also have a small easement to the VDOT for storm water - a little creek. It actually effects 2 home sites, so it would lower our price unless we can get VDOT to vacate and buy it back. This can take months, also. But the buyer has agreed to buy with an excrow set up for the buyback and the legal work begun. It began a few weeks ago. So now we are waiting for the closings and have no idea when this will happen. It can't happen soon enough for us.

The house we are buying, we think. We got a good deal, although the price has been lowered since we bid. It is still on the market until we close, just in case. I don't mind. It needs a lot of updating and work, but it will be worth it - established neighborhood, good schools, close to shopping and interstates, and no jet noise!

Introducing: Anthony Lee Barrientez! he's home as of last week and is doing very well.

It's Sebas' Birthday! Or, it was last night. We had a bash for him that was supposed to include a bonfire, but since none of the men showed up, we cancelled that part. That's where the guys go to have a beer or two and help kids roast marshmallows. Usually I am in the kitchen, cooking, serving, preparing... But I have been sick and didn't want to spread the "love", so we ordered the best pizza in the work and bought a cake and had a blast! That is, until Aaron ran face first into the clothesline bar and broke his nose. It is dark out there at 9 o'clock at night, and I guess he didn't see it. It looked pretty swollen and he was knocked out for second. I'll learn all the details when h is mom class to let me know how it went at the emergency room.

Did I mention we are going to be grandparents? In August. Tony is going to be a dad, and he may be in jail. We find out April 8th. On the 29th of this month we find out if the baby is a girl or boy. Here are some gratuitous pictures, just because:
